Hello,
I'm new to the site and looking for some guidance. I've just purchased a Genesis Core 40 very impressed and would recommend it to anyone considering buying one.
Apart from one small problem 5 rides in and the spring in the fork has started knocking against the fork leg. I spoke to Fishers warranty dept who advised me to take the fork apart and fix it myself, apparently its a rubber elastomer out of position.
I was wondering if anyone had had similar problems with their Recons and if so once they had fixed them did they remain fixed or will I be doing this regularly? The bike's less than ten days old so I'm a bit disapointed I don't really want to send the forks back to Fishers as I'm off to Wales at the weekend but at the same time after spending a grand I was hoping for a bit of quality!
If anyone can offer any info on these forks that would be great especially before I pull them to bits!
