I've a set of solo air forks with a broken seal head. Also have the entire solo air shaft from a mates set of broken forks. The two air shaft designs appear very different. Before getting hold.of the new air shaft I was planning to swap the broken part between them however that does not look possible. Before I was oil trying it does anyone know enough about RS forks to give an indication of the replacement will work?
Here's a picture of the two parts. Top is new, bottom us broken. The new one is longer overall however I have spacers to bring the length inline (length to the right of the shaft guides which are lined up in the picture.

If I understand the design correctly using the top part there will be a larger negative air chamber and the main air spring will be a touch smaller (potentially making the fork stroke a touch more progressive)¿
