Morning folks,

Has anyone got a full sprint remote lockout? Locks the fork and shock out at the same time. I've had one on my Cannondale Scapel Si for over a year and have had no end of problems and I'm keen to know if I'm just unlucky or if it's a common issue...

You have to press the button about 50 times to get it to extend again and it just gets stuck down in the unlocked position.ย  I stripped it down and noticed that a small plastic ratchet ring was worn which prevented it from cleanly rotating which I assumed was the problem.ย  I ordered a service kit which came with the ratchet ring made from brass and not plastic.ย  Brilliant!ย  For a few weeks....ย  Now it's suffering from the same problem again.ย  I'm begining to think it's just a very bad design?

Any other experiences out there?ย  I use the lockout (or try to) a lot and wonder if there is an alternative solution?ย  Front fork is a Lefty so I guess I could install a Poptop button lockout on that but I'm not sure what alternatives there are for my rear shock which is a RS Monarch XX.

I think it's covered under a 2 year RS warranty but I think I need to approach this through the shop that I bought it from however that would be very inconvinient and I'm racing from the end of March and don't want to get stuck without...ย  I'd much rather fix it myself if possible.

The ratchet wheels seem prone to damage causing them to jam in.

Any ZyroFisher dealer can process a warranty claim if you have proof of purchase, expect to have to pay their time/postage.

It is worth checking if it is in stock before sending it back, if not they may warranty it then backorder it.

Yes, UK trade supplier. Rockshox warranty goes back to the Sram tech centre.

You might have to ask a couple, some people get upset if you ask to warranty and didnt buy from them, as long as you cover their time/postage it can be beneficial for both of you.
