[Closed] Rockshox forks - damper and spring swap advice

MrsPJM1974 was getting to grips with the U-Turn and lockout on her Pikes, when she made a fair point that I'd overlooked until now.

"I'm left handed!"

She's struggling to balance holding the bars with her right hand whilst turning the U-Turn dial on the fly.

So my question is, can I swap the air spring from the left leg to the right and change the compression adjust over to the left?

If it is a coil fork then the coil scratches the inside of the surface so the damper seals won't seal in the left leg.

No such thing as a left-handed piano. Or mountain bike for that matter. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I don't get the hilarity...?

The question is - can I change the damping/spring circuits on a Rockshox Pike. I know it's do-able on Fox forks. Yes my missus is a lefty and yes she'd prefer to use her right hand to use the U-Turn.

I don't see the humour in that?

Don't see why it wouldn't work, but it's unnecessary - the U-Turn isn't really designed for on-the-fly alterations.

If she's owt like my missus, she won't even know her left from her right..
