do it yourself. its not hard.

for a low end fork like that I wouldnt be spending £70-80 for someone else to do it.

Loco - do you know much about marzocchi Roco coil shocks. opened an old one up yesterday that was only getting half travel and it nearly took my head off. shouldnt really have been any pressure in it and can't find a service manual.

Was the oil really foamy? or did it go with a big enough pop to spray it everywhere. Sounds like the gas charge got into the oil chamber hence to bang.
Don't know of any service guides online, however I'm sure someone will turn something up if you start a 'wanted' thread.

Did you depressurise the piggyback? if you did then your IFP has let air past it. Thats the only way they can hold pressure once you let it out the schrader valve. Email me for further info or if you want it serviced.

bounced it off the shed roof!!!. its not a piggyback shock, i think its 2007/2008 straight coil. Anyway, found the valve now and getting full travel. any ideas on oil weights and volumes?

You usually fix the oil volume by setting the height of a floating piston (IFP) inside the shock. Rocos take 5wt.

is this your shock?
