Just wondering if anybody else has suffered wear on their monarch stanchion. I was in the shed and for some reason decided to check the shock before a ride on Tuesday and noticed the wear on it. 🙁
The shock has been looked after and not even been ridden on that much, and probably only 3-5 rides since I last had it apart for an air can seal service.
I'm going to have to give LoCo a call on Monday and hope he will be able to sort me out on warranty. I'm sure everything will be fine but it's not really what you want is it.
Possible alignment issue maybe, or bushes too tight?
Monarch Plus for about a year now used 4 or 5 times a week - no signs of wear on mine.
I don't think the bushes are too tight, one of them is at a pivot point so that defiantly isn't. The other one doesnt need to move very much so probably nothing wrong there either. There was no sign off wear on mine a few months ago, there has always been something funny about the colouring of the anodising.
