Could anyone explain, or better still point me towards an internet site, that explains all the current Rock Shox heirachy on the forks, i'm a bit confused by all the RL, RLT, RLT ti etc. The Sram/RS site seems pretty useless to be honest. Cheers.

The whole subject is further confused by the fact that the forks fitted to new bikes tend to be customized for the bike manufacturer and therefore have slightly different model numbers or specs - none of which are covered by the online manuals.
When it came to servicing my forks, I just had to dismantle a bit at a time, whilst referring to the manuals to work out which steps made sense for me.

29er G2 forks are, as far as I can tell, impossible to buy as after market products from Rock Shox or Gary Fisher. Annoying, if you've got a low end GF 29er and want to upgrade.

The letters refer to the adjustments.

R=rebound
T=threshold
L=lockout

ti refers to the type of motion control damper (ti has a titanium tube spring with a more sophisticated compression valving).

Yes, it's exactly the same. They just changed the naming scheme.
