I have a few dings in the rims of the rear wheel on my full suspension bike. How bad do these have to be to need replacing?
The wheels are still true and the tires stay on.

If the spoke tension is still even, the wheels true, there are no cracks and the tyres seal, I keep on riding.

You could try taking the dings out with an adjustable spanner.I've done it a few times.Be carefull though,I've not seen it but its possible to break the rim bending it back.
