Hi
I'm heading up to RHB early April and am looking for tracks trails other than the cinder track.
Ideally i'd like to head out on the cinder track towards Whitby and then come back in on another trail track maybe a bit more inland.

If you were to go the other way (sorry probably not helping if you’re wanting to head to Whitby) but if you head down to Ravenscar on the cinder track, you can jump onto the BW that goes across Howdale Moor from the view point, then head up to Fylingdales, Low Moor and make a loop that way.
'tracks trails'? = gravel?? It's all a bit bitty N of Whitby with too many valleys down to the sea. You could go inland a ways up Eskdale to find good xbiking round Danby Beacon, Glaisdale etc that's accessible with some road riding.
Get dropped off somewhere and then pick the c2c route up. Depending how far you want to go you could do hole of horecum, pickering up though Dalby or wrelton. Some great riding round there.

Thanks, that looks perfect, so head down to Ravenscar and then head west inland.
