Anyone doing this in May? Or anyone do it last year?
I have never done a multiday event but I am heavily attracted to this. Can't imagine that I would actually be able to ride 7 days in a row but really fancy a challenge this year. I also have 2 weeks of holiday unaccounted for that the other half doesn't have.

Rode it last year. Was wet but still great. Quality route, good social event.

Would I be right in saying it's a more relaxed pace and not full of people riding 22 hours a day to set records?
I like the idea of riding with people for at least part of the way.
I also like beer
It's no smash-it ride and most days end conveniently near a bar or pub. We had breakfast beer one day, was that kind of ride. Some good, longer days too. Plenty of people riding together as pace suited. Perfect mix.
