I've just moved North and I'm looking for a roadie club to go riding with at the weekend - I live in Timperley so anything Altrincham, South Manchester way will be good for me. Ideally a mix between social, sensible rides and more pacey rides.

Rode with this club 10 years ago and enjoyed it. They are in Altrincham so should be perfect for you.

Seamons in Altrincham is nearest or Chorlton Velo based in er.. Chorlton which is a couple of miles north of you off the A56.

The latter also a have a few guys riding MTB events and have a good mix of rides out on the road. Discount for members at Cyclelogic bike shop in Chorlton too.
