I’m pretty much a flat pedal rider on mtb so I’ve got no idea on the more minimal spd shoes. Going to be used for summer road and CX racing/riding. Not particularly bothered about peak performance but something lighter and more suitable than my old shimano am45
Any brands I should go to or stay away from? Any recommendations? Budget of up to about £65 (judging by CRC prices). Or should I up my prices and buy from LBS for fit like I do with helmets?
i really like my specialized 2fo cliplites. using them on the road bike as well.
Shimano at whate suits your price range. Most of their spd shoes that look suitable for XC/CX work well. Try and find some that take studs if you are planning on racing. Help massively in the mud.
