I just need to check this first haha....

but would i be considered any less of a mountainbiker if i wore a brand spanking pair of new White Sidi road shoes wile out mountain biking..... they look the nuts and i feel it would be a shame to just use them on the road.

Ps i do not shave my legs ... if that may hinder you opinions

only one question, do you need to be able to walk where you ride? If the answer is yes don't do it, if the answer is no then go for it.

I have worn road shoes on an MTB for Thetford style trails but as mrmo says they are not great if you expect to have to actually walk anywhere.

they might look the nuts now but you will ruin them using them off road.

It's the wrong tool for the job, why are you even considering it?

If you like wearing them so much then wear them at home, put yer feet up on the settee and just sit and stare at them whilst cracking one off.

Alternatively just go out on your road bike.

I wouldn't use road shoes for mtb-there is a reason why they are road shoes.

Oh and you'll knacker them if they are white. You can getaway sometimes by using mtb shoes on a road bike.
