This was a new one for me.. If he hadn't stopped when I yelled, I hate to imagine the mess there would have been!!
I would imagine there wouldn't be any mess. The chainsaw wasn't running and had the safety guard over the blade.
Just be glad it wasn't this guy..
Righto Milkie! I guess they don't weigh anything when they have a safety guard on. ๐
That's right, they don't. ๐
YAWN! ๐

A reply just for you DezB ๐

He couldn't hear because the saw was running, looking wouldn't have hurt thou.
Can't believe the complete absence of replies berating the OP's cycling. ๐ฏ
DezB: it would not have been an issue if you had given way to that pedestrian that was already crossing the road.

There, Universal balance has been restored, no need for thanks.
Oooo you are on my commute. I wonder which one you are....
stick to the main road, I only nearly got squished twice on the way home. Result!

Ah, I know you're jokin an that, but I was focused on the man with the dogs standing in the road (yes, he was standing still with one of the dogs between his legs) and suddenly Saw-man jumps out from the right! Really a nano-second between"oi!" or being a tangled mass of bike, bodies and chainsaws!
Hey PJ266- i usually wear an orange jacket, black road bike. Turn left up to Portsdown hill, so no point using the main road. You're not the nutter who wears the black full-face in all weathers, are you?!
Nahh Im on the recumbent....
A32 into Gosport? If so, I saw you once or twice on my old commute (I think I annoyed you once!). I go up to Whiteley now.
