More of an experiment with my old winter/cross bike - just want to try some road brake pads on it to see how it changes the modulation etc.
Problem is my Shimano mini v brakes don't have a big enough slot/gap to slide the road pad holder stud through, and I can't swap the fixings over as the v-brake ones just pull straight through the road pad holder (hole too large).
TRP mini vees run road pads, have they got special pads or is the slot in the brakes wider?
Loathed to file out the gap (mainly as I'm cacked handed with things like that). Any other classier bodges out there?
Time to rummage around the speares tin in the garage maybe.

TRP canti shoes take road pads and they work on the TRP mini-vees too
