Is there a way to compare your performance which can be adjusted by the amount of climbing you do?

i.e. say 27KPH but with only 1000m of climbing vs 18KPH with 2000m of climbing?

I use bikeroutetoaster for planning longer rides. There are a couple of parameters for calculating ride duration, so you can play around with it until it reflects your reality. At the moment, mine adds on an extra minute for every 25metres of ascent.

PS - I'm a very slow climber

Would always be quite rough unless you factor in your weight/climbing ability I'd guess.

Average power or heartrate maybe..?

True - Can't justify a power meter as that prob would be the best way?
