Any decent road helmets for around £40 you can recommend?

You could possibly get a Giro Savant for that price, good reviews aplenty. Still, always best to get the one that fits your head and try before you buy is recommended.

uvex i-vo.. more of a multi discipline helmet than a pure road helmet but very light and comfy on my melon
