need to replace the Hope Vtwin brakeset on my disc road bike. Simply put, I'm looking at a full rebuild of the Vtwin unit and at a new rear caliper, which is at the £150-200 range.
It seems like a good opportunity to put on a new hydraulic groupset, as the drivetrain is worse-for-wear and a true parts-bin build.
I'm seeing Shimano 105 around £500 with Merlin. Are there any better deals out there? I've not seen anything better from Ribble, Rutland, Evans, Wiggle and Canyon.

have you tried the german sites like bikediscount and bike24? isn't there a french one (alltricks?) that's pretty good prices? I know the weak pound doesn't help.. Merlin usually are the cheapest
have you asked your LBS if they can price match?
Try your LBS. I got my eTap groupset cheaper than the web shops from mine, fitted.
