Greeting all!

Looking for a road cycling break in early June, I've been a moutnain biker for 10+ years and a roadee for the last two.

Where and which company?

CycloMundo did us a very pleasant week in the French Alps. It's supported by taxis taking your luggage between hotels and a Garmin with routes to follow. Hotels were good.
However if being left alone isn't your thing you won't like it.

For June I'd be looking at France as well.
A Quick Release do MTB and Road holidays from Luchon in the Pyrenees, the TdF visits there reasonably regularly and you can get to some of the famous Pyrenean climbs from there.

I'm off to Spain with Freeride Spain next month for a roadie holiday - been with them a few times for MTBing but they've been doing road stuff for the last few years as well. Great company.

Definitely worth a look: Redspokes - a small company, but the four tours I've done with Dermot and his team (Tajikistan, Vietnam, Laos and Peru/Bolivia) have all been absolutely fantastic.

Pyractif are brilliant (although they're in the Pyrenees (duh). They have a hot tub and the food is awesome.

King of the mountains in the Alps are sick too. God doesn't get food as good as what they do there. Right next to alp d'huez. I spent 4 days there, and didn't get to ride at all due to an injury. I still had a brilliant time.
