Is there a better value than the Planet-X road bikes at the moment?

The wheels on the Planet X look pretty dire. Given how important wheels in determining how a road bike rides, i'd get something else (like the ^ Canyon!).

I just bought a 2010 specialized secteuer comp reduced from £1299 to £899. Seemed like s bargain to me...

How about the Merlin road bikes? Spec looks decent and their MTB frames are pretty good.

Not sure of the specs of the other bikes, but the Cayo 105 is an amazing bike. Great spec and amazing ride.

Cheers all, going to have to try some for size I think. not having had a road bike before I don't want to end up with the wrong one.
