Is it possible to upgrade an older road bike to sti units. use the brazons for the frame mounted shifters as mounts for barrell adgusters needed for sti units.
Any help advice would be great!

Thats exactly what they do. I have them on an old trek.

Just the ticket!!!
They allow you to tune the gears as there are no adgusters on road STI units.

you can put inline adjusters in the cable as well just where they exit the lever is best. Just cut the outer and put the in line barrel adjuster there
