Best road shoes for £150 ish ?
I'm leaning towards a specialized pair but I'm not that clued up.
Any I should be looking at ?

Bont . By a mile. Way stiffer than anything I've had or tried before and mouldable to your feet so very comfy.

predictable answer but one that fits. I use gaerne because it came in half sizes with a wide fit

So long as they're Italian and a suitably obnoxious colour you'll be following 'the rules', everything else is just detail surely.

The ones that fit YOUR feet the best, not anyone else's... Crazy as that might sound! Thing is, all the different brands fit differently, so you'll do well to try a few.

Like bigG above, I love my SIDI's. But for the complete opposite reason that he does, cos I've got very narrow feet and so the standard width (Italian ballerina fit!) SIDI's are the best fitting shoes I've ever worn, heel lift is no longer a worry for me.

I'm going to switch to Bonts (from s-works) as soon as the 2013 ones with the boa laces are available
