Just been announced that the Trailmasters event has been cancelled for this year.. it was going to be my first multi-day event.. any suggestions for other events in a similar vein?
Real shame, I did the TransWales in 2011. Considered the trail masters (transwales replacement) last year, but thought I'd give it a year. I have to say John and Mike really know how to put on a great event. Things must be tough out there

Why is it that multi day mtb events struggle so much here? weather?
They are very popular elsewhere in the world but here they never take off.
I did four Trans Wales (well one was actually the Trans Scotland) and they were brilliant fun and I was very sorry to see them go.
Black Mts isnt on because Beardie (the bloke who puts it on) has gone travelling this year. He did say it would be back next year.
