Need a bit of help choosing the best rims for my new wheel build.

Going to build wider trail wheels for my Whyte 901 (2016) hardtail. Around 27-30mm and hopefully lighter than the stock wheels. I'll build them around Hope Pro 4 hubs. I'm considering;
Mavic EN 827
WTB i29 Frequency
WTB i29 Aysm

Any thoughts on these?

Easton Arc from CRC. Good rims, great price - rebranded now as RaceFace Arc*, so the Easton ones are discounted. Same rims used on Easton's Heist wheelsets.

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/easton-arc-mtb-rim/rp-prod136865

4 left on CRC - 29in, 27mm internal, £37.99 each, plus an extra tenner off if you use the yellow clearance code gets you a pair for £65.98 posted.

*£77 each

Edit - seems some people have had problems with durability. Same as with any relatively light rim - people thrash them and break them. You never know how these people ride, (and I don't know how you ride!) so make your own judgement.

I bought a set for my gravel bike, so I should probably be alright there!

ex471 or ex511, depending if you want 25mm or 30mm.

TBH both of those WTBs are pretty chunky. The Frequency is a bruiser of a rim, very very good but wouldn't be my choice for a trailbike (I used to use them on my dh bike and they were grand). The Asym is nice, I got on fine with mine as a plus rim but tbh they seem pretty overweight for what they are. Not sure either is a good choice here

I wouldn't stress about width either, tbh it seems to me that narrow is a problem but once you're wide enough, wider doesn't make much difference. A KOM 25 might be good for you though I think probably less tough than the DT equivalent.

American Classic 101 - light, solid and very easy to set up tubeless.

I have DT XM481's, they're easily the best rims I've used. Light enough, tough enough to shrug off a few dings and blow up tubeless easily.
I also have Easton Heists on another bike that I'm currently going through a warranty claim with cracks round the spoke holes .....

No idea how much the rims are you suggest but I'm very happy with my Light bicycle carbon rims with stealth black logos.
