Are they all the same or could someone recommend me some, feel like I need a bit more power from mine especially in the lovely weather we have been having.

Expensive Swissstop pads I have on my road bike.

Not so expensive Aztec pads on my V-brakes.

Both work.

Wow those swissstop pads are a bit pricey, think i'll try the Aztec one's.

Aztec black ones are pretty good for the money.

I found clean rims also made a difference. Then googling a bit more I found that cleaning them really thoroughly with brake cleaner (impressive how much black stuff still keeps coming off what look like really clean rims with repeated scrubbing of blue workshop towel and brake cleaner) made an even better difference, but only lasts until your next wet ride ๐Ÿ™

On my commuter/road bike SwissStop work much better than the Shimano Dura Ace pads they replaced.

Well worth the money.

I found using a cream cleaner and scourer on the braking surface of the rims pretty good as well.

I'll give them a good clean but I think the Swiss stop pads are a bit steep for my cheap commuter.
