If i remember correctly i think Ted had the design in his mind for a while & then found out its already been done, that may have been by Oddity, i can't remember, but he then found an old 70s / 80s BMX image with a [i]squid[/i] fork, so its been around in different guises before.
I like it, i think its prettier than the Oddity for the reasons [b]otsdr[/b] states above.
