Hi folks,
I've gotten a fairly decent Merida 20" bike for my 6yo son. However, it has a stupid/heavy/useless so called suspension fork. Was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a lightweight rigid replacement. It's 1 1/8in steerer with around 350mm axle to crown.
Cheers!

Disc or rim brakes? Exotic make a 20" one for discs. Think it might be designed ft r recumberents but would work fine.

Sorry, should have mentioned it's for V brakes. Did find the exotic disc ones. Would a 9mm QR clamp securely to a BMX fork? These seem like an option via fleabay.

Yep it should do - width is the same, dropouts will be for slightly fatter axles, but only a touch. Check the weight though... may not be far off the sus fork ๐Ÿ˜‰
