[Closed] rigid fork advice

I want to try my hand at a few xc races over the next couple of years iv built up a hardtail but am a bit unsure if the forks will hold out until I can afford a replacement
the forks are off what I asume was a alloy giant hybrid of some form as they have lowrider boss mounts and would have been 700c but this is why I chose them to raise the front end and slacken a little they are in very good condition with no dents of scrapes plus they only set me back £15

main question is will I die?? 😆
