I'm also a little sceptical about the 27lbs claim. Probably hoping that the seat would distract us from questioning that 🙂

Please could you give me a little review of the FF with the type of riding you do
Cheers

Since I built it I've been using it for all my riding, this varies from local woodsy rooty & muddy single track, trail centres, marathon & XC racing and all day epics in Wales.

It's built up with 100mm Rebas, full XT 2x10 and Stans rims.

The more I ride it the better it gets, to the point where I only ride my very expensive (Nicolai Helius) FS 10 times last year!!

It climbs like nothing I've ridden before (bar my carbon road bike) and descends far better than a 100mm XC type HT should, it's also very comfortable and rather nice looking.

My mate who was a massive doubter of the big wheels and short travel had a go on it round out local trails and came back saying how fast the bike was and how it handled really well. He's getting one once he's saved the cash / sold his 26" inbred, nuff said 🙂

Buy a scandal and spunk the rest on blinging it up.
