I nocked 20 minutes off my best time on my commute to work this morning! I looked out the window and though nah - checked the forcast and realised the strong winds were blowing towards the North East - exactly my direction of travel. Felt ace - like riding an electric assist bike. Im guessing this time doesnt count though.....?

going home should be less fun!

Im based in Brighton, when there's a strong tail wind its great, feels electric assisted like you said.

How longs your commute? 20 Mins a fair chunk of time to knock off.

My commute is east to west and it was blowing pretty hard, not a lot of fun, but the way home should be better

22 miles - Worcester to Redditch
I could scarcely believe it - normally takes 1h40 - today 1h20

Exactly the opposite for me, I was chewing the bar tape pretty much the whole way and a good 8 minutes off my personal best (11 mile commute).

Looking forward to the ride home though.

Crossing the M48 bridge with side winds and gusts not fun. Could it blow me over the railings and in to the Severn? Man over board or lawn dart into the mud!
