Has anybody ever ridden down Snowdon at night ??

When we started the llanberis climb at around 5am there were a load of riders packing their cars up in the town centre. We did wonder if they had just ridden down.

It would be pretty sketchy though - I suppose the llanberis path would be ok.

do you think its a bit to dodgy ?? weather depending obviously ..... ride up in day light and descend at night

would be ok, would need some amazing lights. I don't think I would go near ranger though in the dark on a bike

most of us have maxx d on the bars and joystick on hat......

also does anybody have any maps/ gps routes around snowdon ?

with a trout light , armour and serious balls you could do the Rangers but NOT all of it is rideable [well not by mortals} and I would expect to crash /involuntarily dismount/full body dab 3-5 times how bad who knows. Couple of largish drops to side if you really **** it up in places.

You would need to ride it a few time as well to reccy it and as I said be brave, skilled and well equiped.

junkyard - nice pics,

how long did it take you to get up and back down ? did you go up and down the rangers path?
