So what are your experiences - how long after the proceedure did you manage to get out without causing more pain?

couple of weeks for me.

Others seem to have sacks of steel and were back riding within hours.

I had mine Aug 30 this year and rode 2 weeks after for the first time - banged my balls on the nose of the saddle too on a drop off!! All fine.

A week..............................then mis-judged a drop. Impressive haematoma. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I waited about 2 weeks - was fed up of the public transport commute by then and wanted back on the bike.

It's not nearly as long off the bike as a pregnancy and childbirth, just trying to prevent any more of those

The most enjoyable part is putting 30 "cycles" through the old man, so you can apply for the all clear!! ๐Ÿ˜†
