I have the option of some accommodation in a place called Calahonda (between Malaga and Marbella) in early April. I'm swithering about just taking Easyjet over there and hiring a car, then doing various days cycling. Thing is, I'm unsure whether a road bike or MTB would be best. I guess I could maybe even take one of my own and then hire the other type over there.
Road days, I'd be looking for 100-160km loops. Mountain biking would be more about scenery and solitude than gnarliness.
I'm hoping someone is familiar enough with the area to help me to a decision.
been there loads, I'd def take an mtb. (but I'm nothing like you)
Thanks. I might get in touch with Sierra for a wee chat.
or if you fancy trying something new
