[Closed] Riding in Dubai/Abu Dhabi

I'm going to be heading out in the near future to work nearly full time, probably living in Dubai, working in Abu Dhabi, and I'm trying to decide what bike to take with me.

I'm a mountain biker at heart, but willing to head to the other side if it's the only available option.

Does anyone have any first hand experience of biking out there?

I'd rather not just head out on my own, as the prospect of crashing horribly and then dying a slow and hot death out in the desert doesn't really appeal 😕
