Very open brief but we are heading away this weekend. Need to be in Yeovil at some point but mostly chucking the bikes in van and going somewhere as a get-away with a ride or 2 squeezed in! First thought was Exmoor, but slightly concerned given all the recent rain. I know the Quantocks and they are virtually all weather. Where else is there worth considering? Anything towards the Dorset coast?
I've found Dorset requires maps, Quantocks, go to the Holford car park and there it is. Not got too Exmoor on a bike but it's on the list....
After a bit more planning it looks like we are leaning towards the Somerset coast. Any top tips for Exmoor? will it be a muddy bog? Are we better off sticking with the Quantocks?

Not had anywhere near as much rain here in exmoor as some places. Just got in from walking the dogs and they barely need a wipe down. Much prefer exmoor to the quantocks as it's much quieter.
