Riding holiday insurance, is age a factor?

Looking at a week in Norway with Cycleactive in August. Normally my pre existing medical condition of Osteoporosis barely registers as I haven't had any breaks or fractures for the last 10 years or more . Campbell Irvine are who Cycleactive recommend from the basic £75 odd they want to add another £65 for my condition 😳As I'm now 67 I wonder how much if anything that influenced the hike ? I can't see it did as the original quote was reasonable compared with the extra .

I looked at Snowcard who I've used before and apparently they no longer cover pre existing medical conditions but they seem to have two categories but don't give a list of which falls into which?
