[Closed] Riding conditions for the HONC, April 11th

Given the amount that it's chucking it down right now in my bit of the Cotswolds (nr Wotton-under-Edge), I can confidently predict that this year's HONC is going to be a proper mudfest.

Metcheck and Met Office are currently hedging their bets as to whether it's going to continue raining during the week, but personally I don't reckon it's going to dry out much before the big day.

Somewhat perversely, I'm still looking forward to the event!

Similar story for the 1st Merida of 2010 this w/end.

Isn't the weather cyclic for this event?
I did it once when it snowed. I wish I had a camera, six men all strangers huddled behind a drystone wall sheltering from the snow storm.
