[#1971138]

I've been hearing good things about Minley, and it's a short drive down the road from me, so planning to give it a go on my day off tomorrow.
Can anyone help with things like a postcode for a good parking/starting location and or a rough route guide/ direction to head in please? I haven't got a GPS but could print off a map. Cheers! ๐Ÿ™‚

The course map from the recent Gorrick 12:12 event is at the bottom of this page. Plenty of singletrack in there, so a good starting point.

You won't be able to use the parking that was used for the event. When we ride there in the evenings people usually park at the entrance to Guillemont Park. No idea whether its suitable for daytime parking though, as its a business park.

This is my GPX of the 12:12 course if you're using a GPS, it's 5 laps, so it's a bit messy I'm afraid!

I suspect you'll be able to see where it went from the tyre tracks anyway!

Good advice above.

You can park at the top of Minley Road at the roundabout with the Fleet Road, just off the A30. There is a pull in off the roundabout next to the gate but can be a bit popular with dog walkers etc. From there you can access the entire area. Coming from the M3/Farnborough direction I have parked in the Crown & Cushion pub car park (I tend to have a post ride pint so pub gets my business for a few hours parking. ๐Ÿ™‚

As Piha says, park by the roundabout just off the A30. Then just head off down the straight track that is obvious over the gate and as the track bears left keep an eye out for singletrack heading into the trees on your right, that's the 12:12 course and if you start following it you'll see plenty heading off all over. It's really only a small area but the Gorrick/Army cycling boys have made the most of it and more ๐Ÿ˜€

Thanks for all the advice ๐Ÿ˜€
I parked by the roundabout, down the fire road and off into the single track. Managed a couple of loops in different directions before it pissed it down ๐Ÿ˜• There's some nice little trails in there and I'll return to explore more sometime. Cheers again for the help!
