You still get a fair amount of people up there. I would stick some wet screams on and brave it but obviously be a bit more cautious. Mind you, saying that, when I went up in the summer the trails felt more lethal as the dry conditions had left all the chalk as a fine dust that seemed more slippy than in the wet!

Aston Hill is fine, except when any 'moisture' is in the air...
But tbh based on our ride the other day, you need plenty of mud room.
