Good to see you have a dropper, so you can go up and down on the Pole.

Have many people had a bounce/ride on your Pole?

Is it stiff when it's that long? I've heard they get stiffer as they get longer.

Are you sharing the Pole with other men? Make sure the Pole is lubricated before you start riding.

Does anyone else ride a Pole? Does it feel good?

I've not had a go on one yet, but I try to be open-minded about these things so you never know.

Saying that, I did have a ride on a Stiffee a few years ago and it just felt wrong.

Does the rear shock slider collect muck from the rear tyre?

(Apologies - struggling to get a euphemism out of that. So to speak)

Does the brown stuff from the back end get jammed up around the base of your Pole?

Was it very cold?. Don't think I've seen a pole as blue as that. And do have a purple helmet too?.

Me too, much prefer to ride my bird, or even someone else's bird than a pole.

It's a long Pole but can it take plus tyres, girth matters

Speaking to a female coworker a few years ago, who intended to inform me that she was gay.
'I like holes, not poles'
I'm ashamed to say I thought she was being racist.
It's probably fair to say I'm occasionally slow on the uptake eh.

Totally off my game today.

Looks like your Pole could use some protection

General thoughts would be welcome and any comparisons you can draw.

Hard to pop the front?
Barge like around corners?

Etc.

What's it like to spin on? Is a twisting motion natural or does it give some resistance? (Endo 180/carving manual/hop 180)

Anyway, I realise it is down to personal choice, but that sliding shaft regularly getting covered in shit screams of high maintenance to me, even if the riding is a massive amount of fun.

Another serious question.. It looks like it would be great on wide open trails..

But it looks like it could be a handful when trying to ride less well used, tight muddy back routes.. Especially when having to negotiate a particular narrow entrance for example.

sorry have just recovered from a good bouncy dirty ride on a .... I'll stop now.

The bike was great. 140mm rear travel 29er. I tested it for 3 hours in Åre bike park here in Sweden where I normally take my downhill bike. I wasn't blown away with the length of it, or indeed any of the geometry, perhaps because of the DH bike riding. It just felt right really, a good thing.

its a stiff pole (titter) and the back end has a brace between the chain and seatstay on the non drive side. apparently this is a new edition and the back end really was very stiff. there have been a couple of big guys with really long poles (tee hee) that have broken the rear bolt through axle due it the stiffness apparently.

it really needs to be leaned over in corners, you cant just 'steer' it. i was surprised that it was decent in switchback turns. not amazing but yeah decent.

i also took it on some fireroads xc between lifts for a peddle test and it was grand. decent weight too.

the lyric fork was a bit stiff for me so the really rough stuff i wanted my dh bike

it was hard to manual and wheelie but then so was my DH bike until you get used to it. i didnt try and 180s i'm afraid but it was really stable in the air, due to its length and girth ( s**** )

I'm 184cms and it was a medium with a 50mm stem but Kaisa from Pole cycles said i was in the size border and i could have gone large with a 35mm stem. i quite liked how it the 50mm put me in a more aggresive position.

Kaisa said she had had no problems with the shock and maintains it like any other ( she would say that though of course) She said you can turn the shock around on the latest model and the guy she was riding with (*sadface) had done that.

really positive thoughts on it. i liked it alot. it does come in black too. loads of people looked at my Pole too which was a real ego boost 😆

Unless I've missed it, surprised Louise hasn't been mentioned yet.
