I've posted 3 rides from Warwick on OS Explore .

There's not a lot of singletrack around Stratford but these routes keep me amused.

The three highlights of riding in Stratford are ....

1) The Greenway on a sunny day. Flat but it gets you to/from the Cotswolds and also has the occasional yummy mummy out and about. Though this year they have been a bit scarce.

2) 100m of singletrack but it's a local track for locals 😉

3) urm struggling on this one. Probably manualling off a kerb ??

Basically you can get to the Cotswolds, Wales, FoD or the Peaks easily but locally it's dullsville. Drop me an email and I'll try and point out some of the more interesting bits.

Oh, The Cycle Studio is a great lbs and Ashton MTB ride the Cotswolds - if you're lucky you'll get to see Sheldon's new multi tubed bike 😀

thanks for the replies guys, i'll be up there mid week managing our contractors on the RSC project. first glance at the os map shows a few bridleways and maybe the odd cheeky (after 8pm :D)bit. i doesn't look too hilly so i'll take the singlespeed and have a bit of an explore and drop into the cycle studio for a chat. thanks again

I live not faraway in Warwick and I really think there is probably not a worse place to be a mountain biker in the UK than Warwickshire. Sorry to be so negative but i cant imagine you are going to find much interesting in Stratford

guy I met over that way said he goes over to Eversham to ride with the guys from http://www.about-bikes.co.uk near eversham in a place called Blackminster.
He did also mention a local hill but I didn't note what it was, sounded very local to the town though (probably cheeky).
