I don't know any way to say this other than straight out. Nick has taken his own life.

You will be missed by a lot more folk that you thought Nick.

Confusion aside, it's still a sad moment. NIck3216 was a decent bloke from what I knew of him. RIP. Condolences to friends and family

I didn't know him but discovered Nick's blog a few weeks ago after news of his really rather amazing unsupported singlespeed lejog. My condolences to his family and friends.

I recognise him from that pic, think he was a mate of mate.......

Surely the nerve problem wouldn't have kept him off his bikes for life? One of his last tweets was about putting his bikes in to storage ๐Ÿ™

There's no words that can express how sad I feel right now, Nicks had a tough time of late, lots of issues that he appeared to be able to deal with, never thought that this would be the outcome, I spoke to him just last week and he sounded upbeat and ready to tackle his challenges.

Met Nick twice years ago, both over a beer and a really good chat.

Can't imagine what place he must have been in but having lost 3 friends who took their own lives I have a slightly horrible insight ๐Ÿ™
