Just looked out of my window ( CIlfynydd ) and saw air ambulance landing in field behind me, I had a look to see what was going on and started talking to the pilot, apparently the helicopter was sent from Swansea to pick up a cyclist who had been knocked down on the main road in CIlfynydd. I don,t know any more details at the moment but it might be on the news.
Hope the riders OK, I just popped over to EC Cycles to pick up a few gels...
Its tight through there at times, was my daily commute for 5 years'ish
I commute on that road and with all the parked cars it is dangerous, I have,nt heard about the condition of the rider.
Can get tight through there as you head towards A470...where I got hit off a fortnight ago.
Fingers crossed whoever it isnt in bad way...and the driver was insured. Unlike the **** who demolished my bike.
Quick update on the rider, apparently his helmet saved his life but he sustained neck injuries and a broken leg.
Suppose it could have been worse then.
Hopefully he makes a full & speedy recovery.
