[#5095084]

Guy I'd been chatting to had a OTB on the big drop at the end of pie run today, hyper extension of neck and period of unconsciousness, air ambulanced out ๐Ÿ™

I don't know his name but hope he recovers quickly & that his two mates managed to get back to their abandonned bikes

Healing vibes

It's got steeper over the years too, not that I ever go down it.

Think it's actually got less steep, it's rollable these days. Still wouldn't want to drop from the top to noggin though.

From my experience a hyper-extended neck will just mean a sore neck for a while. When I did the same knock-out/hurt neck combo at Inners I just rode down the hill. I'm tough as **** like that though, didn't want to waste money on some fancy ambulance with wings ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think its got steeper - worn away under the log makes rolling it a bit dodgy now. Don't like the drop either - not enough run in for me although others cope ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hope he is OK

That's not it, that's at the freeride area.

ouch I know that drop. Never fancied it myself (and I've done the one at the freeride park many times), theres zero run in and its pretty much a drop to flat. I can imagine it being nasty if you get it wrong.

Hope its not serious. Stay safe out there kids...

Remember the first time I rode that, followed someone else down it so didn't know what I was letting myself in for.

Got a bit of a surprise to say the least.

Not a good bit at all to OTB.

Apparently i had eyes like saucers the first time i did it.

Healing vibes.

Watching the air ambulance struggle in the gusting winds was scary too, close proximity of trees!
