My brother is toying with getting a bike through his employer so I want to help where I can.

Is this to ride to work on or is he looking for a mountain bike for off road/weekend stuff?
Will get used for both work and weekend fun. I want him to go more mtb than road orientated.
I only found out today that the cycle scheme my work uses has a new budget, £5k although will be sticking to the old limit of £1k for my new commuter!
