Friday's weather forecast is poor with gale force gusts and torrential rain.

So Nick (Black Ellsworth) and I (Silver Turner Flux)are heading to Betsy for breakfast at about 9am on Friday and then we'll ride Pen and then return back to Betsy for a spot of lunch then the Marin trail.
Maybe even the other way around if we decide so!

Then riding Snowdon on Saturday morning when the cloud lifts.

Nic's in a camper below Tryan, I'm slumming it in a 5* for a change on Anglesey!

We've committed so we're going on the Friday anyway.

When we went last year it was very windy at the top. We heard that a young lad of 10 got blown off the mountain (due to the high winds) and killed that same day.

Then if you are riding it on Saturday as well, is it not perhaps wiser to maybe change plans and adapt to the conditions?
This is what we have done; then we'll ride Snowdon when the views are worth the effort on Saturday.
Looking at riding her twice on Saturday too.

Looking at the metoffice it would appear the weather is poor in Betsy and Snowdon.

Looking forward to doing a wet and dry run.

Sort of vindicating my change of plan and the new plan - although Nick was in total agreement with my suggestion in this afternoon's emails.

It's not like we need to prove a thing (Bonty 24, MM, SITS, Kielder 100 etc etc)

Sheltered trail centres x2 on Friday.
Snowdon x2 (?) on Saturday.

My problem: not ridden for 3 weeks!
I'll post up the images on my return.
