Hi All

Does anyone have a Ribble CGR AL Gravel Bike with SKS Bluemels Style 28 mounted?ย  If so, how did you get the front on?ย  I have taken off the mount that's rivetted on, but the struts don't fit the fork correct.

If anyone has a Ribble CGR AL with full mounts (not clip on's) what 'guards do you have?ย  I want to run road 32's on it. I will be using this as a winter road bike.

Is the problem that the guard mounts are halfway up the fork blade?

In which case it's as simple as putting a couple of bends in them so they go into the guard at the usual perpendicular angle.ย  The trick is to do one side on the bike, take it off, then make a copy of it on the workbench.ย  If you try and do both sides on the bike it'll never match and look rubbish.

Like this, not a ribble, but those stays are off my old caad-x which had a similar fork so you get the idea where the bends need to be to line up with where the normal stays are.
