Seriously thinking about a new bike from Ribble. Can anyone recommend any necessary upgrades from the basic spec?

The basic speck is just that "basic" all tried and tested stuff but will be a bit heavy maybe and not so nicely finished. Nothing that you'll "have" to upgrade. Use the bike builder, decide a budget and pick stuff accordingly. Think wheels and groupset as places to spend your money.

105 as a starting point i think.
The seatpost/bars etc can be upgraded if need be in future if so required.
