Anyone got one? Tried one?

I realise they are a bit divisive in the looks department but I am more interested in function over form.
Heavy load carrying, rough, offroad, bikepacking type rides, looks ideal to me but little real world reviews around.
Concerns for me are sizing, they appear long on paper but is that due to the loop bars bringing you back into a more upright position? Also 1x or 2x.... that one I can eventually answer for myself.

not much help but I saw one today at the new Ribble shop at Bluewater shopping centre and it looks very nice in the flesh, very tempted myself

I can't help on that specific bike, but I've recently bought the 725 gravel bike and absolutely love it.

Well, I spotted this back in stock and still on sale yesterday so snapped one up straight away.

That Pine Mountain looks like a lot of fun - I don't think you'll regret that. Let us know how you're getting on with it.
