I have a cube RFR dropper post on my Hardtail, its been a bit problematic since owning. Often sticks fully extended and wont drop, and is really/really slow to drop and extend.
Its internal routed and its been back to my LBS to check over (its only 6 months old), but its only been used a handful of times.
Do I accept its a bit rubbish and look for another one, or is there something I can do at home to repair?

I don't think there's anything wrong with the design. I have one on my Cube Fatbike and it works really well. I've had no problems with it in the 3 years or so of ownership.
